Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Columbus, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Ohio run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 10:30 amβ9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Came to this new sushi buffet for lunch. The lunch got a good prize with various sushi rolls, snacks, and noodles. Service was fast and WiFi was fast. The room was lovely. However, the sushi rice was weird to me, like brown rice. The rice was a little hard and sticky. The sushi tasted not bad, just weird. The seafood was fresh. I liked the mango salmon roll the most. The fried udon was delicious. The bbq pork tasted better than the shrimp. Their fried snacks and dim sum were mediocre.

Updated Review: I went on opening night and will paste my original review below. The owner responded to original review and was very open to feedback and this place has improved greatly. I lived in Japan for several years and go back at least once a year. I love a good sushi restuarant especially when its a 5m drive from my house instead of a flight. The sushi at Saikou is very fresh, lots of options, ok for my kids, and reasonably priced. I 10/10 recommend this place over the other sushi places in town as Saikou knows what they are doing and the staff seems to care about the product they are pushing. The presentation of the plates are made with craftsmanship vs just threw on there and hoping for the best. The only negative thing I can say about this place is they dont have draft beer and only have bottle which isn't a dealbreaker as the sushi makes up for it. Original review from opening night: I have eaten at multiple revolving susbi places in the states and in Japan. This was their first day/soft open so I took that into considerstion. I will go again and update review accordingly. Pros: Fresh sushi Good presentation on plates All you can eat Cons: Some sushi orders neve

I really enjoyed our experience here. Compared to a traditional sushi restaurant there's a certain satisfaction to a variety of sushi readily available versus ordering several rolls you think you'll like and having to wait for them. The system is very convenient for returning used dishes and putting the plastic lids on the belt. The sushi quality was top notch - not sure what kind of rice they use but the rolls held together very well. They have a lot of specialty rolls/fusion rolls which are saucy and what I particularly enjoy. Shout out to the beef nigiri. A memorable aspect of my experience was the sushi taco - never had one before but very scrumptious and filling! Staff were very kind and welcoming. The price for all you can eat is on the higher end but is definitely justified. 100% would return!

I am going to give this place the benefit of the doubt since theyβre new, however it is ok. I would have rather went to Tensuke, Sushi 10, or UMI for higher quality food at that price point. Overall for the price point at 35.99 itβs not the worst but not the best. There are definitely better places for AYCE. Good to go once but i would not go again. Food: 2.7/5 (in terms of sushi) Sashimi was good, probably the best thing they have here. Sushi rolls were not good. The rice was a bit hard and unseasoned (even though the rice was brown and should have been seasoned). Certain dishes were hit or miss, fruit was sweet and dessert was decent. Didnβt try much of the other rice dishes or ramen didnβt seem worth trying. Service: 2/5 They were nice however, felt rushed when i ordered things online for a βspecialβ order. These orders come in the top conveyor belt and the orders would have JUST arrived and they would immediately come to the table to tell me to take it. At first i was ok but they kept doing it over and over again thus irritating me. I would have understood if it was sitting for a while but it literally just came to me. Trash situation is irritable as well. They would come by
